Independent Contractor-Therapist Position

We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our small, independent practice at NCE Wellness—an integrative wellness center in North Minneapolis dedicated to emotional health and healing. As a small practice, we pride ourselves on creating a close-knit, supportive environment where every therapist is truly seen, appreciated, and supported in their work.

We pay a high percentage, so caseloads are manageable and sustainable. At NCE Wellness, we believe clinicians do their best work when they have time for rest, joy, and their own self-care. That’s why we take care of the administrative burden, so you can focus on what matters most: your clients. Our team includes therapists with expertise in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD, insomnia, and trauma, allowing us to provide high-quality, specialized care to the community.

Current Openings:

  • Part-Time: 12–17 clients/week ( hybrid, in person, or fully virtual) – Salary estimation $60,000–$75,000

  • Full-Time: 18–22 clients/week ( hybrid, in person or fully virtual) – Salary estimation $95,000–$105,000

Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly individual sessions (in-person, virtual or hybrid)

  • Conduct diagnostic interviews, assessments, and treatment planning

  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation of sessions, treatment plans, and diagnostic reports

  • Uphold HIPAA compliance and safeguard client confidentiality

  • Foster a warm, compassionate therapeutic environment that promotes healing

  • Maintain current professional liability insurance

  • Maintain timely communication

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and clinical license (or on track to licensure) as a Psychologist, LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

  • Experience working with individuals impacted by anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, family stress, ADHD, etc.
